I've been looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time. I've always wanted to drive one and the odds of a mere mortal like myself ever getting to is pretty remote. On the other hand it's probably worth a million bucks more or less and it belongs to my employer--a bit daunting to say the least. From behind the wheel it feels tiny--a lot like an MGA. The fender flares and big tires make them look bigger than they are. It's an ergonomic nightmare. The steering wheel is right in your lap and the petals are offset to the left. The turn signals are a toggle switch. The clutch is real heavy and the brakes don't get much grip when cold. It's noisy as hell, rides rough, the body squeaks and flexes. I took it pretty easy but got into it enough to get a sense of the power--it's a snarling beast you'd really better respect. It could swap ends in a heart beat. I drove it about ten miles and was pretty rattled by the time I got it back to the house. The boss, bless his heart, was pretty casual about the whole thing. He just flipped me the keys and told me to go fill it up with racing fuel. He hasn't had me drive the Ferrari's yet and I'm it no hurry.
