But he has complained for the past couple years that no one is building two door mid-size coupes any more (I guess Hyundai builds one) and his 2002 GrandAm is getting long in the tooth and higher in miles.
What baffles me is why somone who is looking for a two-door coupe of reasonable size would be attracted to a 4-door standard sedan. The Chevy SS is also four doors but its sporty/performance pedigree can be viewed as an off-set. It is a sporty 4-door that 'almost' looks like a coupe.
I have my personal reasons for not liking GM (which go far beyond what GM did to Saab), but it is his money and his decision - not mine
