Some of the most fun cars I've even driven have been small and light. My first car was a '67 Triumph GT6 which is actually smaller and lighter than the 4C. Any of the British sports cars of that era were a hoot. The original VW GTIs ('83/'84) were great fun. They're still nice cars but the bigger and heavier they got the less fun they were. My VW Corrado was good. A while back I rented a Yaris two door that was surprisingly fun to drive (but I hated the four door one I rented??). I think it all boils down to the old adage that's it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is to drive a fast car slow. Poking along in a car than can do 200 mph isn't really that much fun.
