Since it is a convertible I am assuming you are looking for a summer time fun car only, with little consideration toward resale in the future. The lower the miles now the longer it should operate without hiccups.
On convertibles, one important parameter that is undetected by the prospective buyers is the number of top raisings and lowerings. On Saabs this value can be read by a Tech-II. maybe other car brands record this number as well. Long term Storage of the top while folded is a big No-No too. Fewer miles 'might' be a good indicator of fewer top cycles and less folded storage.
