tonight I found a few things in the programming (Ill keep to myself) which greatly increased the power of my car the clutch is not holding now
it is now hitting 25 lbs of boost & holding 21 lbs up to about 5KRPM then tapering down
on the dyno at SOC it hit 21 lbs & heald 19 LBS to about 4500RPM then tapering down
Im getting on the dyno soon :-) I will post results & this is with all the same hardware I ran on the dyno at SOC :-)
it is colder now then it was at SOC & testing the 2 ECUs back to back the new one basicaly makes about 3 more lbs boost across the board but holds up the peak boost longer thru the RPM range
I heard from my turbo guy today
he said he had to build a special jig to hold the turbine housing in order to machine it out for the larger T28 turbine section he said it took him all day & that the first BIG T28 will be done tomarrow
he had to make this jig because the exhaust outlet is ofset from the turbine centerline which makes it way harder to machine
this turbo is gona be bad A$$ :-)
he has a DSM with the same turbo in it which did 11.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile acording to himself so this should be sweet :-)
when I get done with the T7 project I will get back on my car (Im gona have to put a crazy clutch in it)
I will put on the BIG T28, larger injectors & do some reprogramming & I think I can hit close to 350BHP :-) we will see :-)
have a great week
take care
JAK
