As for Hirsch, their stuff is quite expensive. They are that way because of where they are located, but also the fact that they put alot of research and developement into their products. The fit and finish of their items is amazing. They also provide tuned cars with a warranty, so that should tell you the development and research they do. They also seem pretty happy with the market they have over in Europe and do not really seem to desire bringing their business over to the US.
I had my ECU custom tuned there twice, and they did an outstanding job and were not happy nutil everything was perfect. To get the tune and drivability just right, they spent about 8 hours on my car, twice. They did the first tune, which was about a stage 1 and a second after I got other mods done to get the most out of it. Another thing to note, they get factory support. A Saab factory engineer was present and helped a great deal on my second ECU program.
