Thanks a lot for explaining your techniques. That level of detail is really helpful.I have an 88T and an 89s with poly rear control arm bushings, and run 15" rims with various models and sizes of nokians. Both are high mileage cars and what I'm interested in is good day to day driveability. Since caster and camber are not easily adjustable, I've just tried to get a printout(best service has been from the local votech auto program) from a good rack to make sure they're the same on both sides, the thrust angle is good, and that things are generally in line. I've had to slot a hole or two to get that. Problem is when I replace struts, balljoints, or whatever, I just want to know enough to tweak things to get it right. I've tried various methods of doing the initial toe setting, the latest shooting fore and aft with a laser level to figure out where zero is, and then fine tuning by adjusting one side only until total toe seems right. Then I add and subtract to get the wheel straight.
