using OBD2 alone for ready checklist causes failures onmany cars here & techs have a hell of a time on some getting a full drive cycle done
many stock volvos have trouble getting the ready checklist done
you might get with a tech & see what it takes to get a full drive cycle (this is what is needed to get the checklist done)
you may need to reset the ECU & get a full drive cycle done
I know on my newgen the catalyst takes forever to set ready
your heaters should be checked rite off when first started cold
do you have a check engine light on? if the heater circuits were open you would have a check engine light on for sure
this may not be because of franks SW it may just be an inharent problem with erly saab OBD2
good luck
