Maptun's site states, in their tuning page, that they limit torque in the mid range to a max of 400nm. But, maintain the hp.
I don't think anyone has really addressed the upper performance limits of the auto as most of the serious stuff is done with manuals.
The control, at least in my 9K and '02 9-3 SE, is done electronically via a signal from the trans. In the 9K, that can be defeated by pulling a fuse etc.
High performance turbo auto Saabs is a good topic.
I am sure if you really wanted to build a screamer, you could add all of the hardware and have a custom program done.
