yes but mostly for the GT3071R Posted by jak [Email] (#195) [Profile/Gallery] (more from jak) on Fri, 23 Dec 2005 15:25:21 In Reply to: will that require a special downpipe?, perkj, Fri, 23 Dec 2005 14:55:28 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
the downpipe will have an oval inlet with a 5 bolt flange like what you see on a GT28R or RS
the reason for moving the turbo over is because it has a normal hose type inlet & in order to get a hard pipe down there it needs to be moved over
the reason I dont want to use a silicone elbow on the inlet is a concern of the hose colapsing when the turbo starts to draw in allot of air
I can make them for the stock location as well though but this header will be purpose built to make the GT3071R GT2871R GT28RS GT28R fit in there :-)
this is the third header I will have built & I feel like I learned allot from the first two so this mock up went pretty smoothe
we will see how the actual build goes Im gona backpurge with argon while tigging it together
take care
merry christmas
