I used one of th ose little filters & it pluged up Posted by jak [Email] (#195) [Profile/Gallery] (more from jak) on Sat, 11 Feb 2006 06:35:09 In Reply to: Oil catch can, vent to atomosphere, Barry, Sat, 11 Feb 2006 02:11:42 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
& caused oil to get pushed into the turbo so the car smoked it actually allowed the crankcase to pressureize
& it made a mess like you said
on the SPG I threaded the VC & had a nipple on there & ran a piece of 5/8 heater hose down by the lower controll arm
I dont like the little filter on the VC either they are messy a catch can is the way to go like I said if you realy think it needs vacum just put the catch can in line with the OE vent circuit
I have heard that some do actually use pumps to pump the crankcase down to a vacum which is suposed to make more HP
take care
