real world driving there is a HUGE difference between the viggen's power & a 2.0T's power.

Handling, being a convertible that's not a strong point but the slightly more agressive spring/shock combo will allow the viggen to perform better. However a new set of spring/shocks would make them equal!

Brakes, should be VERY similar with a very slight advantage to the viggen. However it also boils down to what tires are on the car as well as what pads are used. If the viggen owner used some POS el cheapo tires & the SE owner went with SO3's or another high perf tire not only will the SE handle better but it will brake better due to the traction of the tires :)

Definantly not a problem living in a viggen daily, I have been doing that for a few years now!

Torque steer/tramlining fix should be your first upgrade to the car. Get a MP, genuine etc steering rack brace & clamp to greatly reduce this problem. I would also do genuine's 6pt subframe brace to keep the front end from wiggleing all the time. These should be done to ANY NG900/9-3 & NOT just the converts, the chassis are just to flexy :)

My biggest selling part of the viggen over the other 9-3's isn't the HP (pretty easy to get a SE's power above a viggen) but the interior mostly. I personally do not like the seats in the non viggen's (brother has 98 set & parents have a 99 convert) which is why I thought it was worth the added money to get the viggen. I also like the styling of the cars more & the extra torque is also a LOT of fun :)

I would just go drive them & see what you think
