What do I need to pull the valve cover. If I do this, will I need a new gasket? Anything else?
My car has 68K miles on it right now. Maintenance through 60K was all by the book (meaning at the dealer using semi-syn every 5K). Since 60K I've been doing my own oil changes at 5K intervals with synthetic. Most of my driving is to work and back, which is at least 30mins one way, sometimes 45 mins. So I'm sure I get up to operating temperature everytime I drive. Still it would be nice to know for sure.
