Looking for some performance clutch advice.....

Hey guys...
Here is my situation.... I have a 1995 9000 CSE (5-speed) with a garret GT2871R turbo; Group9 performance intercooler; thin black injectors (I think they are made by Siemens); 3 inch exhaust with high flow cat; and a based tuned ecu from SQR which gives me about 300 hp right now.
Knowing that the car can be tuned to about 360-370 hp at the crank, I know the factory clutch has to go. That is what I did this past weekend. I decided to put a stage 2 SPEC pressure plate with a factory disc. The results were disappointing. Before I explain what went wrong ... all you guys using the SACHS' performance pressure plate out there... try and keep the chuckling to a minimal.... thank you!
Here's the deal with regards to my clutch install... as noted above, I put the stage 2 Pressure plate with the factory disc with out resurfacing the flywheel. The clutch doesn't shutter, rather, it doesn't hold the power. That is to say, when giving 70-75% throttle, the clutch disc slips. So, where does the problem lie? I should of never set up the stage 2 SPEC PP with a factory disc as the design of stage 2 PP is meant to go with the SPEC disc that came with the kit? Or, did I overlook something simple on the install that is causing my current clutch slipping situation?
Any help would be appreciated. As always... TIA!
