I installed the yellow Abott Racing manual transmission mount from Powerflex. It was an easy installation. The only trick was burning the rubber bushing out of the metal collar.
The Good: There is an improvement in shifting under WOT conditions.
The Bad: There is a CONSIDERABLE increase in cabin vibration and sound level. The resonation from the engine idle that is felt through the steering wheel and break pedal is so bad I may resort back to the OEM bushing.
I will drive the car for a few weeks with the Poly bushing to see if it softens up a bit. If the vibrations at idle remain as bad as they are now, I will definately resort back to OEM. I have replaced most of the OEM suspension bushings with Poly, including one of the engine dog bone bushes. This is the first poly bush I have installed that resulted in ill effects.
