Well Im not sure if this was discussed here before, but across the nation many gas stations are switching over from the old MTBE additiive to ethanol. I, as well as many others have experienced problems as it is now present in MA gas stations. It has since caused the car to run like crap. Also it is now wreaking havoc with the gas gauge and causing which seems to be more pressure in the tank. The gas tank has a significantly larger amount of pressure when the cap is pulled. If you have started to experince trouble over the last couple of weeks this new formula may be to blame. Hopefully trionic is smart enough to sort it all out on its own but who knows. Yes the new gas should burn cleaner and slightly affect octane, and eventually be bettter for us in the long run. but if its causing problems for all current vehicles it is a big issue. Also not to mention this is one reason why the prices have been going up as it is costing the stations as well to make the change. This is making me more than a bit ticked off right now, im sure you guys will have some input or more info on this subject.
Here are some links to the subject. There are also some on the wall street journal site if anyone has access to those.
