slightly modified M3, I have an Abbottized NG900. Pre-Abbottizing (185hp) I could stay with him, sometimes beat him, on a rolling start.
But from a standing start?
Fugeddaboudit! the M3 shifts weight to the driving wheels, hence better traction at stop-light races. Now that I'm Abbottized, the wheel spin is worse. You really have to feather the gas in first especially, and a little bit in second. But after that, the car just screams.
Get some sticky tires, practice your reaction times as well as feathering the gas. You at least will give him a very good run for the money!
