I agree with the other poster, the ic needs to be addressed first before you do the 2.5" delivery pipe, another issue is that this is only the top half, the bottom half from ic to delivery pipe is still 2.0". I did a custom ic with 2.5" inlet/outlet and top half, like Abbott, 2.5" delivery pipe and although I had better spool-up, not any better on whp on top end. I then fabbed up a 2.5" from turbo to 2.5" ic and from 2.5" ic to Throttle body. That is 2.5" piping all the way from turbo to intake...
I also used a new ported turbo inlet pipe from Nick at GS and then ported/polished the exhaust manifold and turbo housings. After all these changes. I went from 300whp and 332wtrq SAE to 320whp and 365wtrq SAE in Denver. Not sure which change made a difference or which one made the most difference? It leaned out the mixture too, I went from 11.5 to 12.8 or so and that could be why it makes more power? Some companies claim 10bhp with upper 2.5" delivery pipe, not sure if that is true if you just do the upper pipe only??? Good Luck and unless you already have a nice cross- flow bar and plate ic, that is where I would start,
John
