and ignition coil and wires. gues i was just expecting too much. you'd think with all the talk they get here on the board, they would be worth the money spent. yesterday i put in the high vibration ignition coil and their 8mm plug wires. about a week ago, i threw in the btm. so far, i haven't noticed a huge seat of the pants increase. the car seems a little more "alive" with the new wires and coil, but nothing spectacular. additionally, the btm hasn't drastically improved the lag department. btw, i did set the initial timing to 19 and then to 20, but didn't notice much decrease in the lag, but did notice the ability to hold higher boost steady without knock. i wonder if the aid would have been a better buy? so if anyone has any suggestions about what i might possibly be doing wrong, please let me know. otherwise, i wouldn't recommend jumping into the aftermarket sector of these modifications unless you are all done with everything else, and have money to spend. i guess if i really concentrate hard, i can tell a difference. just my somewhat disgruntled two cents...
