Like I said, do the math :-)
A FoMoCo 24#/hr, rated at 2.7 bar, with a c900 non-turbo 3.0 bar reg will give you 26.7 pounds per hour.
Stock is 21 #/hr. Stock with a 3.0 bar reg from a non-turbo is 23 #/hr, and FoMoCo 24 with a stock 2.5 bar reg is 23.5.
If you install Ford 24s with a stock 2.5 reg, then you are pretty much wasting your time/money because you can get basically the same flow for a $5 regulator from a U-pull-it.
If you install Ford 24s with a 3 bar reg, then you get 26.7 #/hr. That's a 27% increase over stock. This is at or over the edge of what the ECU can compensate for.
If you install Ford 30 #/hr injectors with the stock fuel reg, you run about 29 #/hr. If you have LH2.2, you need to adjust your air mass meter. If you have 2.4, you need to add a resistor to wiring from AMM to ECU. If you have an old, tired o2 sensor, you *may* need to replace it.
----------
For less than the cost of one new Ford injector, you can set up a fifth injector in front of the throttle. It's triggered by boost, so it only squirts when you want it to. My setup on my b202t (lh2.4) cost me 10 or 15 dollars, tops, no welding required, only minor wiring changes. The fifth injector plug is already on my harness, unused in the U.S. market (most, if not all other U.S. LH2.x cars, too??). At WOT, with stock injectors and a 3 bar reg, I get 26 pounds per hour (Audi cold start injector). I pass emissions with flying colors. The car always runs in closed loop, so mileage is stock (~30 highway, 20s city).
A guy in Sweden who posted here a number of years ago was making a dyno'd 300+ hp with stock injectors plus a large fifth injector (3.3 bar reg).
