It was a DynoJet. It did the first pull in 4th, the torque ramped up nicely, but at 4000-6000 RPM the boost was fluctuating (by small amounts). The dyno operator said "the engine was breaking up". Second pull was in third, torque peaked later and was a little less lower, but there was less "break up"

Since this is a 90 SPG it has the Mitsubishi TE05. Does this have any bearing on how the SD APC will manage boost. I understand the TE05 comes on earlier the Garett and runs out of steam earlier. This would fit with the behavoir that I am seeing.

How does the OEM IC stand a chance of keeping up. With CFM requirements of anywhere betwee 1.5-2.2 CFM per HP a stock IC would seem very much undersized for the job.

Plugs are NGK PCB7EV and wires are Bougicord. I will pull the plugs and see how they look. I suppose this could be as simple as bad spark. I found bad spark to be a problem with my Sonett at high RPM.

As far as the AF ratio, I will talk with Jak on Monday. Curiously the drop off at 4000 happened with 945 red tops and a SD RED ECU chip, and is now happening for 431 red tops and a Jak Stoll stage 2 chip. With the latter, the drop of at 4000 is more gradual and the AF is more steady.

I am going to get a hold of an AMM to swap in and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks for the insight guys.

Chris
