car is a 97 9000 aero with 18t turbo, big greens, race cat, and sqr custom tune...search my other threads from recently about all the porblems i had if you want background info...

well i put in a new correct front 02 sensor that i got from a friend and my car finally seems to be running right again with no cel's and its not sucking down gas. but new issue...i did a hard 2nd gear pull and around 3k the tires let loose cuz the roads were wet and all of a sudden bang a huge backfire...put it in neutral coasted and then put it in second and stepped on the gas and nothing happened. I thought for sure my trans let loose indicated by the odd popping noise i was hearing while coasting...seems i was in fact only on 3 cylinders (atleast this is my best guess):mad: the car shut off on me so i gave it a second and restarted it...cel was on...read it and it was 2 codes for multiple random misfires.

my only two thoughts now are either a dying di...or i run out of fuel in the higher rpms due to a weak fuel pump. Any one have any other ideas?
