I have seen posts for the T5 and T7 engines where folks have cleaned the TB with a TB or Carb spray cleaner, that pools in the intake manifold, then is runs like crap and throws a CEL. So perhaps there is a lesson in that for some vehicle configurations. Maybe being dispersed into the intake while running might spread things out and be OK.
As for cleaning valves, cylinders and rings I would use Techron Concentrate that is very effective and easy to obtain (in the USA). There are other good products, but can be hard to get-in-hand.
For products to use in the sump, read the directions. There are different types of such products.
Use a VAC line to a fitting in the TB that is right at the throttle plate line so that the velocities are greater for dispersal. But the air flow thru the IAC may defeat that that intent completely.
