Installed a homemade ball/ spring valve in addition to the bleeder valve previously hooked up. Set up a hair away from the fuel-cut (bleeder really helps the final touch) and I think I got a bit quicker needle past half orange to land on the edge of red (not all the way, yet). My setup keeps the stock solenoid to retain NORMAL behavior and APC/ ECU benefit up to the stock boost limit (half orange or so). When I'm in hurry and get the needle past the stock limit, my valves then take in charge of boost department and gives some more kick.

Now, if I disable (or fool) the fuel-cut (stock set at 15psi, right?), how much boost can I safely and harmlessly get from otherwise stock setup? I know T-5 got good flexibility for added boost. What would be the first bottleneck with increased boost?

Also did I see someone's posting here saying that the hooter valve also dumps boost over 15psi? I believe it just dump when throttle is closed and never regulates the high limit and what's limiting my boost now is fuel-cut. I get like one knocking when hit 1/4 red. Got to get boost gage and a/f gage very soon.
