That's good stuff to look at. I'm about to get on the road and drive cross country for some vacation but Dave in Houston and I spoke on the phone yesterday regarding your data and it looks like we'll likely be attempting some similar runs in the future.
I believe that we'll be able to get some useable data that we'll heopefully be able to present in a similar form. Of course the environmental variables won't be the same, but with diligent record keeping, after enough data is collected at various times/conditions we may even be able to come up with a scheme to normalize things for our cars specifically and possibly begin to predict power loss or gain based upon relative temps and humidity...
Anyway, one other question I have is the number of significant digits that you've used for the time, ie numbers like 4.208754209. Is your data log setup really that precise? I guess the real question I have is from which data bus are you pulling your numbers? Are you using an Elm-scan based tool or something else? Thanks.
Now it's time for vacation! BTW I'll be at the Blues Festival in the link below camping along the fence to stage right. If anyone wants to come out we can discuss Saabs over a beer or three, (don't look for a Saab though I'll be driving my truck) --Drew
