I finished up my FMIC project today... I used an intercooler off of a volvo 760 turbo, it looks almost exactly like the saab 9000 intercooler and has similar stats but is just a little bit less wide which allows for an easy installation, if you go with the 9000 IC you will have to cut the hooks in front. Its really rather easy though, all you do is remove the two bolts holding the bumper in place, take out the old intercooler, use two pieces of aluminum or steel to mount the intercooler along the top edge where the front grill is mounted, once the ic is mounted got to Home depot and get some 2" pipe in the electrical section... its about 10-15 bucks... then go to the plumbing section and get 90 degree bends out of rubber, you will need (4) 2" bends and (1) 1.5" 90 degree bend to connect to your turbo. Now i just need to get some sort of solenoid valve to activate my co2 sprayer and it will be all finished, if anyone has any ideas just let me know. Also, if anyone wants pictures of my install i am more then happy to send them.
