This is exactly why I came up with a better MBC. I have changed the outlet port from the Dawes .017" to a 1/4" outlet port to better match the stock hoses.
See the picture below for the comparison:
Ring clamps on this might work but you can stilll get some that will not clamp properly around the entire surface and crimp the hose. A small ziptie(i mean small) is the best as it has the ability to pull the hose tight is a very small area. Using either a ziptie gun or a pair of pliers to pull it very tight works best with this problematic outlet sized port.
