The last time I bought a set of .020" over c900t pistons with wrist pins and rings, it was $220. You cant touch a set of JEs for under $500. Why go to the trouble to using a shaky 2.1 block, crank, etc to rebuild a c900 bottom end? You can bolt on a 2.1 head on a 2.0 block without modification. Ask an experienced machinist like Dave Kennedy about this. The c900t bottom end is bombproof except for oil pressure-related failure and you can do a 1st class rebuild for about $300 in parts.
