Good question, and I'm not sure of the numerical answer.
But don't try to attain some theoretical weight balance number, because every car is different (as Gary alludes to) and Saabs have their own recipe.
You should work to get weight out of the c900 front end, and removing the AC system is a great start. It's easily the biggest, heaviest thing up there that you don't really need (climate dependent of course). The battery is next. Then it gets tough as you are left with miscellaneous brackets, wiring, and clean-up work that take a long time to remove and don't liberate that many pounds.
The good news is that with some weight savings/transfer and a good alignment (I like -1 to -2 degrees front camber, zero toe, 4-7 deg caster) the car is ready for serious driving. We recently took a 1990 900T and turned it into a serious track machine with fantastic balance. What I mean by that is the car had great turn-in at any speed, and once in a corner at near-max grip, it was still very tossable. I could pull it down into a tighter line with steering and/or lift-throttle, or get a lot of rotation with a tap of left-foot braking. Going wider is as simple as relaxing the steering wheel or giving it a little more throttle. At times with hot tires the rear does break away, which is to be expected once you start pushing things that much. Still very controllable; I never looped it (although other drivers did).
The rest of the car was stock - engine, trans, shocks, springs (we cut coils), and front/rear sway bars. The only thing we had that you probably don't have is 16 x 7" wheels with Bridgestone S-03 Pole Positions tires...on clearance at Tirerack for $90 a pop for 205-50-16 size. I can't say enough good things about this tire, and it's being replaced by a new RE050A PP that is supposed to be even better!
