I do not remember what it cost exactly, maybe David will chime in, he got it for me as a gift, I think that it was on the order of ~$130-$150 though. Even for $225, for a Spearco or other site-sponsored intercooler of that size, you are looking at half to one third the price, and is one of the most noticible and safest upgrades that you can do, well worth saving the money.

My other favorite upgrades for a street car are the 2.1 head, lightened flywheel, and full 3" exhaust, with appropriate fuel enrichment. I use basically a stock APC system with these (plus lots and lots of other little and not so little things) and made about 190whp without the big intercooler, will be retesting over Christmas when I home likely as not, so will see what the intercooler lets me be capable of.

$225 is still very reasonable, too bad that this is not a popular size, works perfectly for us.
