...why not design 2 or 3 different ratios. All that really changes in the tooling is the outer circumference. The inner machinnings are the most complex.
The .72 ratio allows a top speed of 160 MPH. Anything faster than that most likely will be aerodynamically unstable and you will go airborn. I also suspect you will hate your acceleration out of first gear. Still, I would like this to be a group effort so what you want is what you get.
