The aluminum wire is too soft for most MIG setups, it's like trying to push cooked spaghetti and you'll have a tough time. There are gun feed systems that you can get to run on a MIG.
I Mig-ed aluminum stock for an AGV frame with a gun fed setup and it went okay. Not professional looking, but okay strength wise. Tube would probably be pretty frustrating because it's so thin. Maybe you could spot weld the thing together and then take it to a professional shop.
