Wow!How did my ECU find out about the Mits TD04 Turbo?I swapped a Garrett t25 out and in came the Mits TD04.
I already had the AERO ECU and boost controller valve setup. With a bad valve previously the most boost I got was 5 inches, when I fixed the boost control valve I got 8 to 10 in 4th and 5 th gear.
Now with the new Turbo I am getting 14 inches of boost in 3rd Gear.
How did my ECU find out about my new Turbo?
My guess there is some level sensing circuitry and motion sensing software in the ECU software that knows when your car is jacked up and sensitive motion sensing circuitry knows the car is slightly heavier in the Turbo area.
