from a high power engine. Even with 400-500 HP engines. That's more of a problem with older RWD cars being upgraded. Like the BMW 3 series where you can see the roof buckle in highly tuned cars without a roll cage.
The way I understood Richard's post he's worried about the frame being bent or twisted out of shape permanently because of the increase in torque and power and not about transient flex. But I might have gotten that wrong?
