Chad is right the SAAB 9-7 is basically a GMC Envoy/Chevy Trialblazer. The engine is a 4.8 or 5.3 liter V8 if you opted for that model or the 4.2 liter inline 6 cylinder. I know at the GMC and Chevy dealership we train at they have not voided a warranty for cat back performance exh. Many Tahoes, Denali's, Escalades, inc trucks have modified exh.
Now if you go with the big heavy bling wheels in say 22", 24" without having the GM tech boys reprogram your ECU for the new OD tire size it will void your warranty on the trans, front end suspension parts etc should a problem arise. Which I have seen on a few occasions. :-(
Regarding performance exh go to Magnaflow website they have dyno proven exh systems we have installed that does increase performance a bit. Usually 10-14hp to the wheels per there website. GM also sales a performance intake that won't void the warranty, some of the K&N kits when the customer re-oils the filter after cleaning will coat the MAF (with oil) and then GM will not warranty that part. As the the boys in the shop say that is CP (customer pay).
