I have never heard of a dyno giving 1/4 mile performance estimates. Does it attempt to account for aerodynamic drag? Seems like it would be a pretty complicated process, considering the drag would be changing what speed the car would actually be going on a real time basis, thereby changing where on the power band the car would be.
By the way, even with drag radials it's very difficult to put power to the ground in a FWD car, and obviously the problem becomes more and more apparent the more power you have. I can spin the tires without trying too hard in 2nd gear on the track, and I'm nowhere near 300whp. As far as LSD goes, I found it made no difference whatsoever in 60' times. Great for corners though.
