Like GM... I've had great luck with the metal master pads made by PBR (not pabst blue ribbon unfortunately). I must've gotten 60 or 70 thousand miles out of my first set. I'm also using the zimmerman cross drilled rotors, which lots of people here are skeptical of, but I've had great luck with them and had great braking performance. But I would have to say the most significant single improvement I ever made to my braking system was getting a set of stainless braided lines. My car has the firmest and most confident pedal feel of any car i've ever driven in my life.

...and everything I've ever heard about the EBC's is bad news...
