Not sure what car you have as there's more than one Glenn posting. My experience is from the 9000 but I really don't think you need to worry about loading up the suspension, assuming it's not disintegrating. The lube can be a problem with smooth bushings on the anti-roll bar, I noticed it groaning over speed bumps but you can't legislate for that - the poly bushings are a worthwhile improvement and, as my mother said, il faut souffrir pour etre belle - though sadly it never worked for her.
However, I have to take your comments on sexual pleasure on trust. Each to his own.
9kt experience again, but the effect on the steering should be positive and the reaction to things like white lines and road imperfections should be improved.
So, no real reason to hold back on what should be a good value suspension upgrade. Nick isn't going to sell you rubbish, because (a) he doesn't, and (b) because if he did you would tell everyone, right?.
