Both castings are the same, the difference is the valve stem diameters, guides, springs and retainers. We've built ported 235 heads and were told by Maptun to convert them to the larger valve stem valves for durability. We used our own 7mm Saab guide design with our dual springs, titanium retainers and custom spring seats. Dave
