I had two issues, one was oil had gotten into the connection behind the head and I had to use some electrical cleaner to get it out of the connection. The other issue was my motor was rotating so far with my power, it was stretching the connections to my o2 sensor on my dp. I have a universal bosh unit and it was connected with solder connectors. I ended up cutting them all off and using regular butt connectors.
Another issue can be the wire itself, the best thing to do is pull the entire wire from connector behind the head to the o2 sensor off the car and check for good continuity. Once you esablish that, you can clean the connections and put it back together.
The 02 sensors will occasionally go bad intermittently. They get lazy and they can start to fail enough to send a cel. There were many issues with the universal bosh units, but the stock oe ones seem to be much better. Good Luck,
John
