If I use high boost in only 4th-5th gear, will my transmission live (realatively) long and happy life? I figure since a stock transmission can handle the 140 HP from a stock NA (with 3 time the HP and Tq due to low gear ratios) and live a long life, maybe with the increasied the HP and Tq (by ~50%) applied only to 4th-5th gear will be OK (since it is less than 1/3 the HP and tq 1st gear would provide in a stock NA engine.
Am I dreaming? My Saab makes 22+ PSI at peak (18-20 cont) & I want it to last as long as possible.
