9000 Aero Stage 3 question

Hi everyone-
I currently have my 1995 9000 Aero outfitted the following:
- 3" JT catback exhaust (still have the stock downpipe)
- Stage 2 Nordic ECU
- Open air intake
- Forge diverter valve
The car is in the shop because I decided to complete the 3" exhaust and put on a 3" downpipe from JT. My question is, do I need to upgrade my ECU to stage 3, or can I run a stage 2 ECU with a full 3" turbo back exhaust?
The ECU is Nordic tuned from GenuineSaab.com. I'm pretty sure I'll be ok without sending the ECU back in for more tuning, but what does everybody think about keeping it stage 2 with the new DP?
