My experience with LH 2.4 and my C900T Posted by Aerowhead [Email] (#625) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Aerowhead) on Fri, 21 Mar 2008 17:09:45 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I own a 1994 C900T Convertible and have what I consider very extensive performance mods. With all my mods, I feel the the biggest obsticle was the LH 2.4 system. I have been experiencing overboost cut for some time. I purchased a lh 2.4 eprom from Jak originally, which worked fine at the time. As I progressed with performance mods I began to experience overboost cut so I kept adding resistors to the AMM. I got to the point where resitors did not help anymore. I seriously went through 8 different fuel eproms between Jak and Swedish Dynamics. My last conversation with Jak suggested a stand alone system. I said " I wouldn't know where to start". In the end the very first fuel eprom Jak sent me has performed the best and I have been searching for something that does not exist with the LH 2.4 system and realizing that a stand alone system would have to be my next step. With reseach I did with the stand alone systems involving Saab's I found the the endever long enduring. To make a long story short, I am going to keep boost just below the LH 2.4 overboost cut with APC addjustments and advance timing accordingly. This is probaby for the best all around especially for my trans. Thanks for listening.
