on my 87 I have done ray v's resistor mod (fleabay), also APC solenoid restriction mod, and bumped base boost to 8 or so p.s.i. Along with SD air filter this has made a very noticeable seat of pants difference.(for your car you may have to disable the fuel cutout if you want to make good power--I believe that this is done with a chip on 88 and up(ask jak)-- Make sure that everything is in decent shape before modding. You definately want to be boosting to about the red/orange line before you mod. careful with your trans, I am on number two, and don't think I even drive it that hard.
