I think it might reduce lag and heat soak in the summer time.
I don’t think they would hurt anything.
Your not wrapping the bearing housing, just the exhaust side of the turbo.
Summit has two jackets to choose from.
Also check out PolyDyn.
They have ceramic coating that is better than Jet hot.
The only problem is that you have to disassemble your turbo and send it in.
I'm having them do my exhaust manifold and turbo. But I have an extra of both.
After I swap them out I’ll sell my originals for about the same price I paid for the salvaged parts.
