To increase base boost, you can do it a few ways. You can shorten the actuator rod and then test base boost. To test base boost, unplug the electrical connector and go wot in third gear and watch you're boost gage and see what it goes up to. You need an actual boost gage to do this.

Another method is to buy the forge upgraged actuator. Set from 6-10psi.

The third way is to make a helper spring, 5 bucks. Advance auto brake pedal return spring, comes 4 in a pack. Take the one close to 2mm and connect it from the actuator bracket to the waste-gate pin and make it so you have to stretch it about 1/4" to hook it on. Then you can shorten or losen the spring to adjust the base boost.

The advantage to this method is that you retain full travel of the actuator and it allows the flapper to open fully. If you shorten the rod, you shorten the travel a little bit.
