Help! Anyone had problems with SAS front swaybar? Posted by AdamB [Email] (#3) [Profile/Gallery] (more from AdamB) on Tue, 2 Sep 2008 11:37:20 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
on the Saab 9000? I had mine installed a couple of days along with a complete renewal of all front suspension bushings, most of them poly. Today I started getting a clonking sound from the right wheel area and when I checked it out the right sway bar bushing had worked it's way out of the bushing strap.
I talked with the indy (who's also a friend) who installed everything and he said that he did think it was odd that the swaybar ends weren't in a perfectly straight line, but he surmised that they might straighten out when under load, so installed it anyway. If the ends aren't perfectly straight won't the bushings just be pushed out from the strap again after being put back, since there is more load on one side than on the other?
Has anyone else had this problem with the SAS front swaybar?
