The bpc connector in the wiring harness has two pin receivers. With my multimeter (set to resistance), I placed one lead on one of the pins and the other on one of the grounds in the engine bay (near the air filter box). Did I do that correctly?
As far as the bpc, I measured the resistance across the two pins. It sounds like I should measure each pin individually, with one lead on a singular pin and the other lead on ground.
How difficult is it to pull the burnt part and put the new part in. I'm not really good with a saudering iron. I've saudered wires together before, but not a board.
I really appreciate all your helpful suggestions. It is nice to know that there are good people who like to help others. People like you help make saabnet so great.
