For a moderately boosted, formerly-NA car with boost retard and *premium* fuel, the APC is not necessary, but it would be nice to have. The APC system is completely separate from the ignition system. A DI/APC system is unnecessarily complex for this project, IMO.
grlyd -- you need a Bentley manual and the portion of the C900T wiring that goes to the distributor. With the manual, determine how the original wires were attached to the crank sensor plug on your car, then match them to the C900T wiring.
You also need to disable the distributor's ability to advance timing under vacuum conditions. I assume you know where to find info on this (I'm unable to link here). You don't want both the EZK and the distributor to be advancing timing at the same time.
