Hirsch ECU upgrade.......... Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Thu, 2 Apr 2009 15:34:35 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have an opportunity to buy a used Stage 1 Hirsch ECU for a very attractive price. This unit is labeled to mate to a 2000 9-5 2.3l with the 5 speed manual tranny. My car is a 2000 9-5 2.3l with automatic tranny.
Visiting Hirsch's website today, it says the unit for 2000 9-5 2.3l engines is the same for both manual and automatic transmissions!
Did Hirsch change their mind at some point during the past 9 years? Will this work with an automatic transmission? Will this work with a US serial numbered car (since it has to be married to the car with a Tech-II)?
Thanks!
